Job Description

We are supporting a market-leading FMCG food organisation in the appointment of a Commercial Director based in Dubai.

The business operates across the Middle East with a portfolio of well-known brands within the snacking category, supplying major retail and distribution channels across the region.

This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening retail partnerships, and expanding regional distribution across key markets. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping commercial strategy while ensuring strong execution across both direct retail relationships and export channels through established distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial strategy and revenue performance across key snacking product categories
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with major retail partners across the Middle East
  • Manage and grow regional sales through distribution and export channel partners
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive expansion across regional markets
  • Partner closely with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to align commercial strategy with product availability and brand growth
  • Lead and develop high-performing commercial and sales teams
  • Drive category growth, customer engagement, and brand visibility across key retail accounts
  • Deliver revenue targets while maintaining strong margin performance

Key Requirements

  • 12+ years of commercial leadership experience within FMCG or consumer food businesses
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth across retail and distribution channels within the Middle East
  • Strong experience managing relationships with major regional retailers and distributor networks
  • Background within snacking, confectionery, or packaged food categories preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead commercial strategy across multi-market environments
  • Strong leadership capability with experience developing and managing regional sales teams
  • Fluent Arabic and English language capability required
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth, margin, and brand development
